Chris Cartledge is a full-time, professional artist, dividing his time between illustrations and painting for more than 20 years. His designs and influence in the sports and mascot industry can be seen all over the world in movies and television. Over the last two decades, he has launched three custom art companies, selling two that continue to operate today. He has also held a position on the Clemson University Visual Art Board for a number of years, and as an alumnus remains passionate about Clemson, sports, and the arts.
Chris started painting while a student at Clemson University in the late 80’s studying under professor Ireland Regnier, where he further developed his passion for artists, the arts and painting.
Chris currently sits on the board at the Blue Ridge Arts Center and teaches Painting, Drawing, and Composition.
He creates from his home studio on Lake Keowee near Clemson, SC.
